Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and browser storage PartnerPips.com uses, what each one is for, and how to change your choice.
01Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, and which is sent back on later visits. Websites also use related technologies — local storage and session storage — which keep information in your browser but, unlike cookies, are never transmitted to a server.
These technologies do different jobs. Some are needed for a site to function at all. Others measure how a site is used, or follow visitors across sites to target advertising. This policy covers all of them, and uses “storage” to mean any of them.
02What this site uses
PartnerPips.com is a static marketing website. It does not have user accounts or a login, and it sets no tracking cookies. Today the site stores exactly one item, and only after you answer the consent banner:
pp-cookie-consent— browser local storage, no expiry. Records whether you chose “Accept all” or “Essential only” so the banner does not reappear on every visit, and so any future analytics can be switched off when you have declined. It contains one word and nothing that identifies you.
Your browser may also keep ordinary technical items such as its own cache. Those are managed by the browser, not by us.
03Categories of storage
Strictly necessary
Needed for the site to work and to remember choices you have made about storage. These do not require consent, because the site cannot function properly without them. The consent record above is the only item in this category.
Analytics — not currently in use
Measurement storage would tell us which pages are read, how visitors arrive and where they leave — in aggregate, to help us improve the site. No analytics are running on this site at present. If we add any, it will only be loaded for visitors who have chosen “Accept all”, and this policy will be updated to name the provider and describe what it stores before it goes live.
Advertising and tracking — not used
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels, or any storage that follows you across other websites. We have no plans to.
04Third-party requests
Two things on this site are requested from another organisation’s servers:
- Google Fonts — the typefaces used across the site are loaded from Google’s font servers. This sets no cookies, but making the request necessarily discloses your IP address to Google as part of delivering the files. Google states that it does not use these requests to build advertising profiles.
- Nothing else. All other code the site depends on, including its animation and 3D libraries, is served from our own domain rather than a third-party network.
If you would prefer no third-party requests at all, the fonts can be self-hosted; contact us if that matters to you.
05Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. The simplest way is to clear this site’s stored data in your browser, which removes the consent record — the banner will then appear again on your next visit and you can choose differently.
Clearing site data
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data and permissions, then find this site and delete its data
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data, then search for this site and remove it
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data, then find this site and remove it
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data → See all cookies and site data
Most browsers also let you block storage entirely, or clear it automatically when you close them. Blocking all storage will not break this site — you will simply be asked about cookies on each visit, because the answer cannot be remembered.
06Do Not Track and global privacy signals
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. There is no settled industry standard for responding to them, but since this site runs no tracking or advertising storage of any kind, the outcome is the same either way: you are not tracked here.
07Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever the storage this site uses changes — in particular, before adding any analytics. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Where a change requires fresh consent, we will ask for it again rather than assume your previous answer still applies.
